Christian and Kerstin Sandefeldt, the husband and wife team behind Aquarium at St Katherine's Dock, bring their expertise and innovative cooking to this stunning riverside location within Imperial Wharf . The Sandefeldt's were understandably excited by the project: "We finally found the site and the architect which best complemented our food: a riverside restaurant with stunning modern architecture as a backdrop to our classic Francophile and Scandinavian-influenced cuisine."

Deep encourages diners to be experimental with their palate by serving lots of small dishes including some of the ocean's more exotic species. More familiar dishes are also available, which are all cooked to perfection. The interior offers a successful blend of simple modernity with a warmth that will immediately relax you. The south facing walls are lined with floor to ceiling windows providing diners with great views of the River Thames. Seating is also available outside on terraces situated overlooking the river. The bar that sweeps around the corner of the dining area offers the largest range of Scandinavian snaps (aquavit) in Britain . They are the perfect accompaniment to sushi, pickled herrings or shellfish and are highly recommended.
