St George, in partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, hosted the third annual Jobs and Careers Fair at Imperial Wharf on Thursday 28th January 2010, to highlight the range of employment and training opportunities available at Imperial Wharf and throughout Hammersmith and Fulham.
Visitors to the Imperial Wharf Jobs and Careers Fair 2010 were able to meet a range of organisations offering employment opportunities and job seeker advice. There was plenty of information available through a variety of agencies including Westfield's Work Zone, who provided careers advice and information on how to gain support and assistance, access pre-employment training geared towards securing employment in the borough, organise work placements, debt support and provide childcare support for those wishing to return to employment.
Exhibitors at the 2010 Jobs & Careers Fair included:
| LB Hammersmith & Fulham | Gambado |
| Acton Training Centre | Resourcing Group / Slivers of Time |
| Anders Elite | Jurys Inn |
| CMB2 Group | SJM Landscapes |
| Sainsburys | Commodore Kitchens |

The event was officially opened by Greg Hands, Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury and MP for Hammersmith & Fulham, who commented:
"I am delighted to once again open the Imperial Wharf Jobs and Careers Fair. This event is organised by St George in partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham who are working so constructively together on employment and training initiatives. Given the current challenging economic climate it is really encouraging to see so many agencies here today to help people with careers advice, training and employment opportunities. This is a vital link between local people and local employment. If you are looking for a new role, this is the place to be.
Imperial Wharf is now really taking shape. I recently visited the development and saw the range of new facilities that have been provided in the Borough. This development really does now have something for everyone to enjoy. The Imperial Wharf railway station opened by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, links Imperial Wharf to Westfield shopping centre in only 9 minutes, providing vital public transport facilities for residents and the local community.
I am delighted by the success of the event and so pleased to see Westfield's Work Zone, Slivers of time, Sainsbury's, Karen Hardy Dance Studio and many more offering opportunities to the local community."
The next Imperial Wharf Jobs & Careers Fair is to be held at The Wharf Rooms, Imperial Wharf, on Thursday 27th January 2011.
